The Sony PlayStation 1 (Model SCPH-7502) is a PAL-region console released in April 1998. It is physically identical to earlier models but features cost-reduced internal hardware. Notably, this revision retained the rear parallel and serial I/O ports before they were completely removed in the subsequent SCPH-900x series.
