Built to deliver a true vinyl-feel: the CDX uses a 12″ aluminium platter with full vinyl control (you can put a record on it) combined with a slot-load CD transport.

Ultra-high torque direct drive motor. Listed specs vary between ~4.7 to ~5.0 kgf·cm depending on source.

Slot-load CD mechanism compatible with CD-Audio, CD-R, CD-RW (and MP3 data CDs in many cases).
