Metering: Through-the-lens (TTL) stop-down meter, activated by a lever next to the lens.

Battery: Originally used a 1.35v PX625 mercury cell, though 1.5v 625A replacements work.

Viewfinder: Uses a needle display for metering (+, o, -).

Film Loading: Known for the "PL" (Praktica Loading) system, which makes it easy to load film.
